AYBN DIGITAL offers the perfect bargains to distribute your music in the best online stores worldwide. You retain all your rights, get 100% of the income from purchases and only have a really small annual fee. The income can be paid out at any time or you can use the money for tailored services, promotion and exclusive deals at AYBN.

There’s none! We know that this is easily said, but we try to find a win-win-situation for everyone which is only possible without any catches. Out offer lies as follows:
0,50 € per month per single, 1,00 € per month per album. Payment is due for a year in advance, otherwise the administration fees would be too high to keep the price at this level.
In addition there is a setup fee of 1,00 € per track. For albums each store package costs 1,00 €.
You can give notice each year at least 4 weeks before the end of the contract. A take down is possible free of charge during the contract period. 100% of the income from purchases will be added to your account and can be paid out at any time to the end of the month if you at least reached an amount of 25,00 €. If you did not reach the 25,00 €, a pay-out is possible at the end of the quarter. This is to keep the administration process smooth and the costs for service low.
You retain your rights and you only give us the non-exclusive right to, for instance, place your music in the stores. We won’t do anything you didn’t ask us to do.
Your music and your music videos stay in the stores how you want them to. If you want singles or albums removed from the stores, AYBN won’t charge a thing for the change. If you ask for a cancellation, the single / the album will be removed from the stores automatically at the end of the contract period.
12 months after the first upload we charge an annual renewal fee for the respective album / single.

Important: All charges for the digital distribution are non-refundable. This is also true for unused partial amounts. The administration- and storage fees are 12,00 €/year per album and 6,00 €/ year per single.

(Answer: None!) That’s right: none. AYBN DIGITAL doesn’t take a cent of your income, which you earned by purchases of your music. 100% of the income will be paid out to you!

Yes, all the copyrights remain with you/your band. AYBN DIGITAL is not the owner of your music, your copyrights or your rights of cover designs. As you can read in our TaC:
» You pass AYBN DIGITAL the non-exclusive right to distribute your music in stores, so it can be purchased by others. IMPORTANT: The stores need not be provided with identical publications twice! You may still offer your music yourself (i.e. via your homepage) or via third party services and you may bring them to the stores (non-exclusivity). However, you have to ensure that the same releases will not be provided to the same store as AYBN DIGITAL already supplied. Each publication can only be provided exclusively to one store by one service. Only one service may hold the respective right to do so. » You pass AYBN DIGITAL the right to gather the income of the sales of your music and transfer them to you.
» You pass AYBN DIGITAL the right to use your band/artist name, cover, biographic information or other information provided by you in conjunction with your music in your mandate.
IMPORTANT: AYBN DIGITAL does not have the right to produce CDs, vinyl records, DVDs or such. That is solely your right.

Your album is being sold at 9,99 $ at amazon, but how much do you as a band get out of this?
Unfortunately there is no clear way to answer this, as all stores have different deductions going on (i.e. sales margin, advertising subsidy or deduction for the collecting society of the copyright holders). According to each basic agreement, the deductions will vary. However they are the same for all content distributors - though only at AYBN DIGITAL you will be paid 100%. By rule of thumb you should have a general dealer delivery price of 5 €.

Yes, you must be at least 18 years of age to be able to distribute your music via AYBN DIGITAL.

We know that it is important that your music is available throughout the internet. AYBN DIGITAL is therefore working continuously to expand the co-operation with new stores. If new stores become available, you will be able to add these to existing publications at “My Music” in your account. Adding a new store only costs 1,00 € per publication.

Good news first: it is generally possible to publish cover songs, remixes and adaptions via AYBN DIGITAL. However, you need to inform yourselves (with an attorney at best) if you need respective approvals of the holder of the rights or at least what you need to do in your case and with your song. A relevant proof should be send to a href="mailto:digital@allyourbandneeds.com">digital@allyourbandneeds.com. In any case you should give the names of librettist, composer and arranger. When all formalities are settled, you can start with the publication. For those of you who can read German, the “Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung” offers several interesting books on the topics of copyrights.

Accounts for ITunes Ping are only available upon invitation or by creation through content distributors such as AYBN DIGITAL. If you don’t have an account and you are an AYBN client, we can create an account for you free of charge.

You’ll receive statements of transactions via mail. You can decide at any time if a certain amount should stay on your account at AYBN DIGITAL or if you want to have the money given out to you at the end of the month (if you have more than 25,00 €; if the amount is less than 25,00 € the pay-out is scheduled for the end of the quarter).

The money will be transferred via bank transfer (if you have a German bank) or via PayPal for international clients. For this you will only need a PayPal account. For a smooth money transfer it is important that you have all the information stored in your PayPal account, such as e-Mail address, because otherwise we cannot send a transfer. Transaction fees for PayPal will be settles automatically with the incoming money.

Money transfers are only possibly directed at one person. If you have to split the amount (i.e. for other band members, holders of copyright, friends, etc.) it is your duty to settle these things! AYBN DIGITAL can only pay one person out.

Stores usually send their statements in either of two ways:
» Within 45 days of the respective billing month or
» within 45 days after the end of the quarter.
IMPORTANT: It is not possible to receive statements about your accounting transactions before they were officially send.

Unfortunately nearly every store decides for itself at which price they are going to sell the songs. In some cases you can pick the price level at which your songs should be sold. If someone buys your song in a store, you will receive the amount that is settled by the contract with that store. To offer songs for free is NOT intended or possible.

At the beginning of each month you’ll receive a statement for all accounting transactions if there were any in the previous month.

PayPal currently offers the easiest and cheapest ways to transfer money internationally. This refers to deposits and pay-outs.
